When To Apply For International Admissions -
INTAKES
- UK universities have 2 intakes per year
- The Autumn intake in September for all courses, The Winter intake in January.
- Some universities also offer an April-May intake for some courses.
DEADLINES FOR SUBMISSION
- The Application deadlines for September intake fall between February and May.
- The Application deadlines for January intake fall between June and September.
- If you have missed the deadline this does not mean that you cannot secure admission for your desired intake. GET IN TOUCH WITH US and we will do our best to get you on the course.
TOEFL/ IELTS
- Register for the TOEFL no less than a month prior to the test date, on the official TOEFL website. There are 50 Internet Based TOEFL test dates every year. Results can be expected 6 days after your test, you would access these via your online account on the TOEFL app.
- The TOEFL test is popular, places get filled quickly so apply sooner. Test Result is valid for 2 years from the date of test
- Register for IELTS at least a month prior to the test date on British Council or IDP website. There are 48 Fixed dates every year to appear for the test. If you choose to take IELTS on a computer i.e. online test, will get your results within 3 to 5 days of sitting your test. Or if you choose to sit a paper-based test, your results will be available 13 days after your test date.
How To Apply -
1. Contact Physioconnects/Arrange Meet
- Fill in the Physioconnects Registration Form add link here
- Discuss all aspects - course selection guidance, fees, process, visa, mandatory test requirements, settlement option etc etc during your one to one Study Abroad session with Physioconnects. This is your opportunity to put across all your questions to us.
2. Documents Collection & Assessment
- Physioconnects will assess your documents, to ensure all information is complete and that your application data is error free.
- Previous Education Certificates
- Degree, Transcripts.
- Proof of Permanent Address.
- Employee Reference letter Or
University Professor's reference
- Language proficiency test results.
- Statement of Purpose
- Passport copy
- Proof of Funds/ Bank Loan Statement/Approval.
3. Application Submission
The application is submitted online to the university.
UCAS charges £20/- for application to single university and £25/- for multiple applications (5 universities in one go).
Your application now gets assessed by the university, you would receive either a conditional offer of admission or an unconditional offer, depending on your previous scores, your English Language score. It can also just be a requirement of deposit fees in order to convert your conditional offer into a CAS.

4. Deposit/ Advance Fees Payment
- You would be asked via letter, to pay initial deposit directly to the university. While some universities ask for full payment, most require just a Fee deposit. Amount would be stated in the university letter.
- After payment, You will receive a CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE FOR STUDIES LETTER (CAS LETTER) from the University. The application for Visa must be made within 6 months of receipt of this letter.
5. Student Visa Application
You require the CAS letter for your Student visa Application. You can apply for the Student visa via our recommended solicitor firm who have offices in Mumbai and UK, or by yourself. The application must be submitted at least 3 months before the commencement of classes.
Please be aware that it is best to seek expert professional legal intervention when it comes to visa applications, as an inappropriately filled application would be rejected, jeopardising your Study Abroad Plans.
The Fees for biometric test is £19.20/-
The Embassy Student Visa fee is £348/- incase the student is from outside the UK.
The Embassy Student Visa fee is £475/- when the student is within the UK and needs to switch to Student visa, or extend their visa.
- The National Health Service Health Surcharge is £470/- per year, for the duration that the Student Visa is granted. The receipt of this payment is a necessary attachment with your Student Visa application.
- The Biometric test costs are £19.20/-
6. Departure Planning & Post Landing Support
- Book your air tickets & confirm accommodation prior to travel. Contact Physioconnects to keep us informed of your departure plans.
- You will receive a Welcome message from Physioconnects on arrival in London. We will keep in touch with you until you have safely arrived at the university and been greeted by the International Students Representative. We are only a phone call away !
Statement of Purpose
The Statement of Purpose is a short essay that is submitted by the university applicant and this happens to be one of the most important element of your application. The statement would comprise what you currently do, what you intend to do, and how that would benefit you, why you feel that the course is suitable to your requirements and how you intend to apply the knowledge and skills that you would gain from the programme. It conveys to the assessor information on why they should consider offering you a place on the programme.
UK (HOME) STUDENTS
The admissions process for UK - Home students varies slightly, such that there is no visa student visa element and the government supports study applications for adult learners with full fee funding for both England and Wales.Nursing students and health care assistants get paid during their training and there are robustly established support programmes to further their career development.

Scholarships for International Students Wishing to Study Post Graduate Programmes in UK
International students outside the EU and EEA (European Economic Area) are required pay full tuition fees at UK universities. Euraxess UK Scholarship
The Euraxess Uk Scholarship is managed by the British Council and is one that promotes and assists researchers both nationally and internationally. It is applicable to almost all disciplines /subjects. The Euraxess UK programme supports researchers at Post Graduate Level, Post Doctoral Level and for Over 6 years Post Doctoral level.

The Commonwealth Scholarships
These are awarded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in UK to prospective students from Commonwealth countries who would otherwise be unable to afford higher education in the UK. It is understood that upon completion of the studies the candidates would use their gained skills for the betterment and development of the infrastructure back home, thereby improving lives of people there. GREAT Scholarships
GREAT Scholarships are offered by the British Council, jointly in partnership with UK Universities. Each year several scholarships are made available, each for the value of £10,000/- towards tuition fees for taught postgraduate courses in UK, for students from 18 countries. A welcome event and a networking event are also organised for the scholars. Not all the scholarships are for healthcare education, but it is certainly worthwhile to look through the courses and apply in advance for what interests you.
